When it comes to creating custom shirts for our clients, we look at three main things in their provided design: the design itself, the chosen color palette, and the type of fabric.
However, there is one more crucial element that we pay close attention to – the type of printing technique used. All these elements work together to create custom shirts that don't only look good but also last the test of time.
The Design
For this shirt, our main design inspiration was motors. We had to incorporate them into the shirt design in a way that speaks about the client's brands while also looking cool and trendy. We decided to go with a minimalist approach, using clean lines and a juxtaposition of silver and gold to create a sleek and modern look.
Designed by Bora U, this design features shimmering gold and silver coins, each with an iconic motor model. The reason we went for coins is that they are associated with money, wealth, and luxury — all of which are qualities this particular client wanted to convey.
Color Palette
The design features three colors: silver, gold, and black. We kept the background black for a neutral and classic look, while the coins' colors add a pop of brightness and shine. Our choice of metallic colors also adds to the luxurious feel of the design.
Motors Displayed
The shirt displays the iconic GT0015A, GT0013A, and GT1110A motors. We opted for these specific models as they're among the most recognizable and sought-after motors in the industry. The placement of each motor on the shirt was carefully considered to ensure a balanced and visually appealing final finish.
There's a perfect blend of smaller and larger coins arranged in seemingly random yet deliberate patterns.
The Fabric
To complement our design and chosen color palette, we chose a high-quality cotton-poly blend fabric. We offer the shirt in the following material options:- Polyester
- Pique Cotton
- Pima Cotton
- Elastomere
Conclusion
There aren't many designs out there that boast mechanical artistry while being fashion-forward and sophisticated. But our designer was able to bridge that gap and create a unique, timeless design.
